ABOUT THE UKRAINIAN KENNEL UNION

UKU - Ukrainian public organization "UKRAINIAN KENNEL UNION" is a voluntary public association of owners and fanciers of purebred dogs for the joint realization of goals and objectives for the development of cynology in Ukraine.

The main purpose of the organization is to promote and activities aimed at preserving and improving the national gene pool of purebred dogs, guided by scientific knowledge of genetics and breeding, considering and based on the experience FCI and domestic dog breeding.

The main objectives of the UKU are:

✓The creation, preservation and rational use of pedigree resources of purebred dogs of high pedigree value for the purpose of improving and supplementing the national breeding stock;

✓to ensure the operation of a unified breeding system in the dog breeding industry and;

✓The creation and maintenance of an identification data bank of purebred dogs in Ukraine;

✓Developing standards for domestic dog breeds;

✓stimulating scientific research in the field of cynology;

✓Developing sport with dogs and training of athletes and trainers from the service and sporting dog breeds.

THE PUPPY'S KENNEL, FOR A PUPPY, IS HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE, WHICH YOU WILL LATER EXCHANGE FOR A PEDIGREE!

Having official documents of your puppy is important.

A puppy's kennel is a document confirming that the puppy is a true puppy of pedigree parents who have confirmed their breeding value and allowed for breeding. This document is a guarantee that all puppies of this litter are registered in the studbook of the breeding club and this dog will be recognized in any FCI partner organization as a purebred.

The puppy record is given together with the puppy and his owners can exchange it later on to the pedigree book in any UKU office which is convenient for them.(Or I will send a ready-made export pedigree to the owner's name at once).

Below you can see the official sample of the puppy's card and two types of pedigrees: for FCI-recognized breeds and for breeds recognized only on the national level, i.e. by the UKU.
