I usually recommend bathing a Xolo once a week using specialproducts designed for naked dogs. These can be soaps or shampoos that will not irritate Xolo'sskin. The Xolo sweats through its skin and also has sweat glandsand subaceous glands in its feet, more than other breeds. When bathing, it would be nice to rub Xolo's skin well toclean it of dirt and to keep the glands in the skin open. Before bathing your Xolo it is very important to clean theears. Liquid ear cleaning solutions can be purchased at your pet shop or ifnone are available a few drops of vegetable oil can be used to dissolve the earwax build-up.During the bath it is very important to massage in between thetoes with a little shampoo. The feet have active subaceous glands and sweatglands and must be kept clean.After bathing, it is advisable to apply a special cream fornaked dogs. Or, as I wrote in the previous article, different organic oils.
