Yes, xolos don't have fur and don't molt. While pet molting does contribute to allergy aggravation, hair is still not the cause of allergies.
Pet allergies are usually caused by dander, which is the dead dried flakes of your pet's skin that are attached to the fur, so it appears that this fur is causing the reaction.
Proteins in the sebaceous and salivary glands and in the urine can also cause allergies.
Naked dogs have no fur and that makes it much easier to live with them, that's a fact.
But there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog!
Do not be fooled by "our dog does not cause allergies," it's better to make sure before buying a new family member that you won't have any allergic reactions.
You just need to have inhalation allergy screening at the lab to know this thoroughly.
Then you will have the peace of mind that you can enjoy your life together with your xolo without snot and cough.
